Dawn McKnight has been a 10-year member of ACLEA and is often called on to lead sessions on trends in publications and how the proliferation of technology has affected the delivery of information to the legal industry. Dawn shares that although you can get most any information online, one must find better ways to access that information efficiently.
She shares that even though much of our content today is online, the real cost of content is the production of that content, making print and online content not very far apart in cost. Dawn suggests that having print materials available allows one to scan those materials first, looking for key words and topics to narrow the scope before they go online. She also encourages CLE providers to either build or find a technology platform to deliver content electronically.
